Having a degree in Psychology and also working in the secular field I noticed that my clients were continuing to deal with the same issues in life with no real remedy. It was frustrating for both them and me. Our church offered me the opportunity to train as a laity counselor and I realized that the worlds counsel will never help people find the cure for their problems and that learning another coping skill was not the permanent solution. Using the Heart of the Problem workbook has been such a wonderful tool to help my clients see the real solution which comes through true repentance and learning to walk the Spirit filled life with Christ.
